"Celebrate The Nun" untill "Scooter"
H.P Baxxter and Rick J Jordan founded "Celebrate The Nun" in 1986. Their first single,"Ordinary Town" was in store in 1988. After that there were a few singles like "She's a Secretary","Will You Be There?" and three albums. The first album was cal- led "Meanwhile". Unfortunately they had little or no succes so they stoped in 1991.
Rick and H.P still staid in contact after they stoped. Some time later Rick, H.P, Jens and Ferris founded the remix team: THE LOOP!. They remixed tracks for famous artists.
On day they made a melody to make the people warm before a concert of another group and H.P started to shout Hyper,Hyper in the melody. The people just went wild because they loved this tune whit H.P's voice in it. A few weeks later H.P and the other THE LOOP! members decided to make a single called:"Hyper, Hyper" whit this tune and H.P's voice under the group name SCOOTER. It became the most succesfull single of the whole SCOOTER HISTORY and sold over 750.000 time only in Germany (where it got Platinum) and was verry popular in whole Europe. This is how the brilliant career of SCOOTER started (1994 till 2000 and further!!)

" Hyper,Hyper" untill "No Fate" It started in 1994 with the first Scooter single: "Hyper, Hyper". It was verry succesfull and Scooter therefore decided to go on and make new singles. All the following singles from the first album "And The Beat Goes On", which were:"Move Your Ass","Friends" and "Endless Summer", got gold in Germany and were verry succesfull all over Europe.
"Back In The UK", the first single of the second album "Our Happy Hardcore"(1996) got also gold. The first and second album didn't got gold but soled together annyhow about 300.000 coppies only in Germany. The second single,"Let Me Be Your Valentine", of the second album wasn't a big succes and therefore didn't become gold in Germany. The thirt single, "Rebel Yell", which was a cover from Billy Idol, didn't become gold as well. In 1996 Scooter alsow made a song together with other band's for a charity project, it was called: "Love Message".
In the end of 1996 Scooter's thirt album, "Wicked" was in store and got gold in Germany. The First single, "I'm Raving, which was a cover of the song "Walking In Memphis" from Marc Cohn, was a big succes and got gold again after a two singles "goldbreak". The second single, "Break It Up", wasn't so succesfull and didn't become gold so a new "goldbreak" started which was shorter than the last one, because the first single, "Fire", of the fourth album "Age Of Love"(1997) got gold. The second single, "The Age Of Love", of the fourth album was again not so succesfull and didn't become gold and a new "goldbreak" started that would go on untill after the last single, "No Fate", that Scooter made in the old formation H.P, Rick and Ferris. This single was from the best off album "Rough And Tough And Dangeres 1994-1998".
After that single Ferris left Scooter to start a solocareer in the popmusic business.

Axel, H.P, Rick (1998-2002) In the beginning of 1998 Scooter started in the new and actual formation H.P, Rick, Axel. The first time that Axel appeared with Scooter in a clip was the clip of the "Bravo-Alstars", which was called: "Let The Music Heal Your Soul" ( It was a clip for a charity project in Germany). The first song they made together, which was "How Much Is The Fish", was a real succes in whole Europe and especially in Germany where it enterde from 0 on 3 in the top 100. Naturally the song went gold and soled at least about 250000 copies (which is Gold in Germany) in Germany only. It was a big releaf to Scooter , because they didn't knew if the fans would like Axel in the place of Ferris. They obviously did, because the single sold verry well and the album "No Time To Chill" also sold verry well and got gold in Germany and was popular everywhere in Europe. HP also married his girlfriend in august 1998, so this was a year with lots of changes. The next single,"We Are The Greatest / I Was Made For Loving You", of the album( which was the sixt by now) wasn't so succesfull in Germany and Europe. The thirt single ,"Call Me Manana", wasn't either a great succes but it was a greater succes than the second single of the album.
Scooter were also nominated for the ECHO 1998.
After a break of about seven monts the first single, "Faster,Harder,Scooter", of the seventh album, "Back To The Heavyweight Jam"(which got gold in Germany), was a succes and got gold in Germany I think , because it was on week in the top 10, 5 weeks in the top 20, 1 week in the top 30 and 1 week in the top 40. The second single of that album was "Fuck The Millennium" was alsow succesfull in Germany and in Belgium.
Scooter were nominated for the ECHO 1999.
After a break of 4 months the new single, "I'm Your Pusher",which was the first single of the eight album "Sheffield",was avaible. It was the first single that was published by Scooter's own label, which is called: SHEFFIELD TUNES, and not by Edel.It wasn't a big hit in Germany. The album however was a hit. In August 2000 the second single, "She's The Sun", from the eight album was in store. There were only 77777 copies of the single released. It could have been a big hit in Germany if they had released more copies ,because in a voting on Viva it got much more % of the votes than Madonna with her single "Music".
Scooter won the Viva COMET 2000 in the category: best dance act. They were also nominated for "Die Einslive Krone".
In the beginning a new unknown group called:RATTY released a song called "Sunrise (Here I Am)". It occured that RATTY was a side project of Scooter. It was a big clubhit. The new Scooter-single "Posse I Need You On The Floor", which was the first single of the new album "We Bring The Noise", was released in june 2001. It was a big hit in Germany. It entered the top 100 on number 8 and was a month in the top ten. Not so long after "Posse I Need You On The Floor" the second single "Aii Shot The DJ" was released. The video version was a totally different one then the album version. The clip was verry cool. A German comedient named Helge Schneider played in the video. Unfortunately it wasn't a big hit but it was a verry cool song. I expected it to be a bigger hit than Posse but it wasn't.Scooter were nominated for the VIVA COMET 2001 as best national act. Unfortunately they didn't won the COMET. The No Angels won it.In the authumn of 2001 RATTY released a new song called "Living On Video". The next Scootersingle was released on 10 december 2001. It was called:"Ramp (The Logical Song)". It's the first single of the second best-of album:"Push The Beat For This Jam best-of 98-02". The single and the album were verry succesfull in Germany and Scandinavia (where the single got platinum and the album gold!!). In Germany I think both alsow got gold, but I don't know it for sure.
Axel Coon left the group after this single and best-of album to start a solocareer as DJ and remixer.

HP, RICK and JAY FROG (2002 and further) The first single of the third chapter was released on 08-04-2002 and it was called "Nessaja" and it was Scooter's 24th !!! single . >>Scooter's single "Ramp (The Logical Song)" was released in Great Brittain in the end of june 2002. It was a very big hit in Great Brittain and sold over 600.000 copies and got platinum.(it was the second hit in Great Brittain of Scooter. The first hit was "Back In The UK" (1996) ). The single was also released in Irland and was also a hit over there. The second best of album "Push The Beat For This Jam" was also released in Great Brittain and got GOLD . It entered the charts in the top 10.

The new single of the new studio album was called "Weekend" It was released in the end of April 2003 and entered the charts of Germany on number 2!. It was also succesfull in the UK, although not so succesfull as "Nessaja".
Scooter have wone the German music award "ECHO" as best dance act 2003.
The new studio album "The Stadium Techno Experience" was released in the end of march 2003 and entered the German album charts on number 7!. In the UK it entered on number 12, so it was also succesfull there! The second single of the new studio album was released in the end of may 2003. The single was called "The Night". The single version was different from the album versions in much parts. Scooter said that this defenately would be the last single with a high pitched voice. HP said:
" We were the first with the high pitched voice so we can permit us to be the last one too".
The single was fairly succesfull.

On 11-08-2003 Scooter released they third single of the album "TSTE". It was called "Maria (I Like It Load)". They made the single edit, which was different from the album version, together with Marc Acardipane and Dick Rules (those two were the original writers of the dumdum melodie). It was the first featuring single that Scooter have ever made. The single entered the German Charts on number 4 !!. After that it stayed several weeks in the top ten. It was a very big succes. Normally the second or third singles of an album are less succesfull than the first one. But in this case the third single is almost just as succesfull as the first one of "TSTE".

It's rumoured that Scooter's new single will be released on 08-12-2003.

In december 2003 is also Scooter's 10th Anniversary !!!. HP said once in the song 'Move Your Ass' : "We've got one message for the next decade, move your ass"!".And HP said the truth, now a decade has almost passed and Scooter are still on the case!!! Let's see what for message they will have for us for the second decade !!!
